Pro Oxygen is pleased to announce its support of this year's Run to Break the Silence charity benefit, hosted by the Presbyterian Ear Institute (PEI). With technology like cochlear implants and hearing aids, PEI seeks to improve auditory and oral communication for children and adults who are hard of hearing and deaf.
This year's participants ran and biked to raise awareness about the realities facing children with hearing loss, including the fact that most deaf children will only reach an average of a fourth grade reading level and a mere 8% of deaf students graduate from college.
