Low Oxygen Levels linked to Increased Mobility for Cancer Cells

Biologists at The John Hopkins University have discovered that breast cancer cells, when exposed to low oxygen conditions, dramatically increase production of the RhoA and ROCK1 proteins. These proteins are responsible for allowing cancer cells to move and invade other tissues in the body (or metastasis). See the full article here.
