Veterans see Improvement in Symptoms with HBOT

This study published in the Journal of Neurotrauma found that 92% of veterans reported improvements in their affective ("general anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, and PTSD") and cognitive ("memory, working memory, attention, and FSIQ score") symptoms caused by blast-induced traumatic brain injury and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) after 40 accelerated sessions of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT).

In addition, 64% of veterans in the study reported discontinuing or decreasing their use of medication during hyperbaric treatment.
